Book fair week is over, and I am so glad. It's a lot of fun, but also a LOT of work and long hours. We have volunteers to help out, but my friend Kim and I are in charge, which means we do the setting up, schedule volunteers, fax in re-stock orders every morning, set up drawings and games for the students, and make sure at least one of us is always there in case there's a problem. Which means except for an hour or two here and there, we're there from 8:15am until at least 5:00pm. During our Family Night, I didn't get home until almost 9pm. But it looks like we made our fundraising goal, so it was definitely worth it. Plus, it gets the kids so excited and happy.
