I haven't done this in a while, so since I won't have internet access for a couple weeks, I decided to get back on track.
#1. Name your biggest cooking influence.
I'd have to say a woman named Phyllis. She was my mom's best friend when I was growing up. When I was 16, she employed me as her mother's helper for the summer. I was in awe when she would just pull stuff out of her fridge and cupboards, throw some spices and seasonings on it, and she'd end up with a delicious meal. I wanted to be able to do that when I grew up, and for the most part, I think I can.
#2. What is your ultimate comfort food?
Thanksgiving dinner.
#3. Name one must have tool that you think every kitchen should have.
A KitchenAid mixer. Couldn't live without mine!
#4. Share a time saving tip.
Plan out your meals and make a grocery list before heading out to the store. It takes a little time and effort, but definitely pays off.
